A creative studio for video, audio and 3D.

A multi-track editor in the browser, on a phone or as an app for Mac: per-clip effects and colour, a real mixer and synth, captions, an in-house 3D engine and AI that works inside the project instead of beside it. Export goes up to ProRes 4444 and 10-bit VP9.

A hybrid synth, a drum machine, an arranger, an effects rack, a mastering suite, a pitch editor, a meter, a console, a MIDI rack and a workstation — built on one hand-written C++ core, so they share a library and a preset format and find each other in your session.

About Frinet

Frinet is a Finnish software company founded and run by software developer Jani Huomo. We design, build and support our own products end to end — from the audio and 3D engines to the apps, the websites and the services behind them.

Our own engines

The audio engine is a hand-written C++ core that runs natively in the plugins and as WebAssembly in the browser, so LimoStudio and the LimoAudio plugins sound the same. LimoStudio's 3D engine is built in-house too.

One account

A Limo Apps account is one sign-in and one set of AI credits across LimoNote, LimoStudio and the LimoAudio plugins, and the same account signs you in to LimoPages. A plugin licence is activated by signing in once and then works offline.

Privacy by default

We are an EU company and handle personal data under the GDPR. We do not sell personal data, and where it can, the work happens on your own device — LimoStudio can make captions right in the browser.
